3105 – Interstellar Countdown
A pair of players collaborate to manage an alien device. One player sees a console screen that gives them information and tasks, and the other player, following their partner’s guidance, manipulates a physical box to fulfill the given tasks.

3304 – Christmas Mission [6:00-8:00pm]
In this world, four players will be divided into two teams. One team will play as mice, attempting to catch gingerbread men as food, while the other team will play as gingerbread men, collecting Christmas gifts. In this world, players can use skills, strategies, and communication to accomplish their Christmas tasks.

3304 – Kingdoms [8:00-10:00pm]
Four players face off in a limited-information game, where each player chooses to ally with or attack each of their opponents during a “decision” phase. Then, everyone’s choices are revealed at once, and they gain and lose points based on the results.

3306 – Monkeying Around
The player is a monkey toy that got separated from their mom inside the basement of a toy store. The player has to navigate back to their mom by climbing from one shelf level to another. Our game utilizes vertical movement for the player to climb through the obstacles in the world. The main mechanic to navigate the world is the consistent movement of the player’s hands going up and down. The game also has a strong narrative implemented through animation clips that make the player empathize more with his character.

3321 – Prison Escape
In Prison Escape, a VR escape room experience, you’re trapped in a prison cell with only your wits and a few hidden tools to guide you to freedom—all while avoiding the ever-watchful guard. Explore the cell, solve challenging puzzles, and uncover hidden clues in your surroundings. Using intuitive hand gestures, you’ll interact with objects and piece together your escape plan. Every discovery and action brings you closer to freedom in this immersive and suspenseful VR adventure.

3404 – Hycave / Pulp Free Studio
[6:00 – 8:00pm] Hycave is a team dedicated to creating a multi-player 3D game using CAVERN, a 270-degree circular screen, and a 20-foot-wide play area, and our goal is to be the first team implementing multiplayer head-tracking cooperative interactions in the CAVERN system.

[8:00 – 10:00pm] Pulp-Free Studio is a 3D animation production team creating an immersive short for a 270-degree panoramic screen. Using motion capture technology from the CMU lab, we bring to life a magical and heartfelt story of an old man’s memories through fluid choreography.

[6:00 – 10:00pm] Penguin Action Toolkit by Team Patpat aims to create an accessible, extensible and powerful action game framework that helps small indie teams make action games and saves them 100+ hours in development.

[6:00 – 10:00pm] QuestLine is a Level Design Project conducted by graduate students in Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center. This project adapts worlds from the Rifts roleplaying game series created by Kevin Siembieda and published by Palladium Books. QuestLine is focused on using visual effects and innovative game systems to create an aesthetic and engaging level in Unreal.

[6:00 – 8:00pm] Torn Apart is a narrative game project developed by the “Home Team” at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center. Our game sheds light on gentrification and its impact on long-standing residential neighborhoods.

[6:00 – 8:00pm] MoonRover is making a VR experience for the Moon Museum, a local Pittsburgh museum and the first museum in the world to focus on career and community readiness for the 21st-century space industry.
